Persons are the subjects most interesting to me; aspects of the persona come through, whether I’m using brush and ink, oils, water colors, conti crayon, or charcoal. I currently love the spontaneity of Chinese brush and ink, and of watercolor. What appears on the paper is always new.
I also enjoy painting plein air landscapes and still life. My art interest began in 1996, after careers in the business world. I have studied at the Art League of the Carolinas, with Lissa Friedman, Cheryl Keefer, Clayton Beck, and Peter Campbell.
Painting is a wonderful avenue for self expression. I love it!!
