| Ruth Ilg, an accomplished artist and photographer, is a native of Germany. She resides and works in Asheville, North Carolina, USA and on Lake Constance, Germany. Ms. Ilg has studied with many renowned artists in Europe and in the US, resulting in a continuing strong desire to explore a wide spectrum of techniques, styles, media, and themes. She is known for her meticulous watercolor, gouache & pastel botanicals, miniature oil landscapes & seascapes, vibrant mixed-media abstract paintings & collages, intricate geometric designs, luminous reverse glass paintings, whimsical acrylic cityscapes and masks, and also for her innovative encaustic paintings. Ms. Ilg has won numerous awards. Her work has been widely exhibited, and can be found in private and corporate collections around the world. | ||||||||||||||||||||
