Artist Statement
|
|||||||||||||||
| Jane Desonier paints landscapes inspired by the hiking areas and mountain farms of Western North Carolina as well as still-life paintings incorporating mountain flowers and produce. Jane has a university art degree as well as classical training from the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. Her paintings in oil using a warm palette reflect her fascination with color and light.
