Eileen Ross is a studio artist and creativity coach working in Black Mountain, North Carolina.  She has been painting professionally since 1990, and her work has received awards in juried shows in New York, metropolitan Washington, DC, and in North Carolina.  She has had several one-woman shows, including one in the Kennedy Center in Washington.

Ross’ work is lyrical and metaphorical rather than representational. Themes range from jazz musicians and circus performers to impressions of the wonders and power of nature.

Her current work can be seen in local galleries, including the Asheville Gallery of Art and the Red House Studios and Gallery (the art center for the Swannanoa Valley Fine Arts League) in Black Mountain. NC
