The exhibit "Abstraction and cold wax, will feature recent paintings by the artist. The "cold wax medium" is a mixture of wax, solvents and varnish combined with oil paint which is applied to a panel surface. As Walton applies the paint layers there is a veiling and unveiling of textures,marks and colors that produce wonderful surface texture and depth. "My work is an exploration of color, texture and transforming nature into abstract forms".
