My "Contraption Series" is an adventure of soil and soul. Coming from an agricultural background, I am inspired by the intricacies and implications of farm machinery. For me, the "contraption" paintings are an experiment in recall and foretelling what the farmer knows about birth and death, family and friend, labor and harvest, the painter also knows: the same thing and different.
Kathryn received her BFA from Louisiana Tech University and continues to seek education to develop her skills.
